My approach to pricing involves three simple steps.

1. Connect

Contact me and tell me a little about your project. What do you need? When do you need it by? How can I help?

For editing projects, I’ll ask you to send me the draft document or a working sample to help me assess the work required.

2. Chat

For many projects, I find it helpful to have a short meeting to talk about the scope of the work in more detail. We can meet virtually or by phone, whichever works best for you.

3. Quote

Based on our conversation and any materials you send my way, I’ll send you a quote. For some projects, I find a fixed project fee works best, while for others, an hourly rate is preferable.

If my quote suits your budget, we’re ready to work together.
